Y.CO is a leading yacht management company with offices in Monaco, London and Fort Lauderale, Florida. In 2021 Nekton Team helped Y.CO develop their long term sustainability strategy of a future of yachting with Greater Purpose, Lighter Footprints and Stronger Community. The Nekton Team continue to support Y.CO in key areas of the strategy such as increasing yacht efficiency, carbon footprint calculation, monitoring (& encouraging!) and reporting.

11th Hour Racing Team

11th Hour Racing Team’s mission is to build a high-performance ocean racing team with sustainability at the core of all team operations, inspiring positive action among sailing and coastal communities, and global sports fans, to create long-lasting change for ocean health.
From 2019 to present Amy is working with 11th Hour Racing Team helping them implement their sustainability strategy in the lead up to The Ocean Race in 2023

SailGP

Powered by Nature™, SailGP is adrenaline-fueled racing as eight teams go head-to-head in iconic venues across the globe for a winner-takes-all prize.
From January 2022 to March 2022 Amy provided support to SailGP by updating their ISO 2012 1 management system, ensuring SailGP are compliant and making the process easier for the business to engage with. She also worked with their in house Purpose and Impact team to propose their new Season 2 reporting strategy.

11th Hour Racing

11th Hour Racing establishes strategic partnerships within the sailing, coastal and maritime communities to promote collaborative, systemic change benefitting the health of our ocean. Since 2010, 11th Hour Racing has been harnessing the power of sport with an innovative and comprehensive approach through three primary areas of engagement: Sponsorships, Grantees, and Ambassadors.
From 2017 to 2021 Kellie worked as a partnership consultant for 11th Hour Racing helping them manage purpose driven partnerships with The Volvo Ocean Race, Vestas 11th Hour Racing, the 52 Super Series and The Ocean Race.

MerConcept

Inspired by the Winds of the Future

MerConcept is the offshore racing, innovation and performance company of Francois Gabart, current single handed round the world record holder.

Kellie worked with the company from 2019 to develop the company’s sustainability strategy and facilitate their transition to the French legal status of Entreprise a Mission. Key strategy goals included measuring the company’s CO2 footprint, integrating LCA as a key company process and developing innovative waste solutions.

MarineShift360

MarineShift360 is a purpose-built life cycle assessment (LCA) tool, backed by 11th Hour Racing as Founding Sponsor, designed by marine industry experts for marine designers and engineers to evaluate and compare materials and processes, investigate alternatives and drive innovation.

Kellie and Amy worked as consultants on the development of the tool, raising awareness within the marine industry of LCA concepts and merits, engaging and managing 10 industry-leading project partners and coordinating the technical software development.

French and British Challenges for the 35th America’s Cup

Kellie’s sustainability strategy for Groupama Team France leveraged the power of partnerships to make a big impact with a small budget. A local Renault partnership in Bermuda gave them access to the only electric cars on the island and a collaboration with Race for Water ‘s clean energy flagship gave the team a solar powered hospitality platform.

As the Sustainability Officer for the award-winning Land Rover BAR campaign, Amy was responsible for sustainability sponsor account management, stakeholder engagement, reporting, implementing sustainable events, manufacturing efficiencies, community engagement, ISO20121 Management System compliance, supply chain management support, outreach and best practice at team events and temporary bases.
